Old View

Until June 1st, I had lived in Jamaica Plain for the last 2 years or so. Throughout that time, I took photographs out of my bedroom window. Now that my girlfriend and I have moved into our new apartment in Somerville, I no longer have that window to photograph out of. I am so thrilled to have moved in with the person I love, and our apartment is absolutely amazing, but I will certainly miss that apartment. I have so many memories from that apartment (many with her) that I will carry with me throughout the rest of my life. I keep thinking that one day I'll be that annoying dad, driving with my kids, and I'll make a "detour" just to show them "my first real apartment". But the moral of the story is, I just need to start photographing out of a new window now.
